Arknights: Endfield gameplay preview shows off combat, locales, and cutscenes
Developer Hypergryph released a new trailer for its upcoming free-to-play action RPG Arknights: Endfield, showcasing more of the game and what players can expect to see, should they join Endfield's next beta test. The test itself kicks off on November 28, 2025, with sign-ups ongoing via the official website until November 17, 2025
Arknights: Endfield Gameplay Preview
The Arknights: Endfield gameplay preview trailer contains a mix of story cutscenes and gameplay footage, displaying both variants of the gender-selectable "Endminister" player character. The preview also included looks at the player laying out bases, visiting populated locations, interacting with characters, and even using the in-game photo mode.
Earlier in November, Hypergryph also hosted a special broadcast going into more detail about the content of the beta test, and offering the most substantial look yet at Endfield's gameplay experience.
Players will battle alongside their companions with a real-time action-based system, with all members of the chosen four-character team present on the field (though only one will be directly controlled at a time). During the beta test, players will explore the region of Wuling, and try out a "fully reworked" early storyline experience that wasn't in earlier tests.
In addition, Endfield features a detailed base-building mode called the Automated Industry Complex (AIC). Players will create factories and production lines to manufacture items, equipment, and consumables they can use as they explore the world. Players can also create blueprints to make laying out production lines and bases easier.
Arknights: Endfield is set to launch in early 2026 for PC, PS5, and mobile devices. Check out the game's prologue here.
