SD Gundam G Generation Eternal wins Google Play Best of 2025 awards in 10 countries and regions

Bandai Namco announced that SD Gundam G Generation Eternal has won awards at Google Play Best of 2025 in 10 different countries and territories around the world. The mobile game specifically won the Best Game of 2025 award in 3 locations and the Best Story award in 7 more, all of which are located in East and Southeast Asia.

The full rundown of the countries/territories where the game won the awards is as follows:

• Best Game of 2025 - Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Macau
• Best Story - Japan, South Korea, Indonesia, The Philippines, Malaysia, Singapore, and Thailand

We have also previously found out how G Generation Eternal raked in an enormous amount of revenue, with over $200 million as of the first five months after its launch. The faithful retelling of the storylines from the Gundam anime shows and side stories, as well as the inclusion of brand-new stories like Gundam SEED Recollection, may have contributed to the game winning the Best Story awards.
