Through Aniimo’s signature Twining mechanic, players will also be able to take on the form of any Aniimo, including these latest additions, using their abilities in creative ways to fit any situation at hand.
The Homeland feature sees Pathfinders and Aniimo work together, using their unique abilities to build and upgrade a home base which will in turn have positive effects on the open world. Pathfinders and their Aniimo will be able to gather together in their RVs at a campsite to socialize, then use their RV to access the Homeland. The Homeland itself is a mix of an amusement park for the Aniimo and crop-growing and farming activities to be shared with the Pathfinder.
Operation: Egg Heist is a competition game mode where Pathfinders will compete in teams to gather the most eggs, dodging attacks from wild enemy Aniimo along the way. The choice of Aniimo that players bring to the island and those Aniimo’s individual characteristics will be key to success!
The upcoming closed beta is just around the corner, with Aniimo also set for its global launch on Xbox, PC, and mobile in 2026.
