Arknights: Endfield gets two new trailers ahead of launch, pre-registrations top 35 million
Developer Hypergryph and publisher Gryphline have debuted the official release trailer for its upcoming free-to-play "3D Industrial RPG" Arknights: Endfield, alongside a gameplay trailer. The trailers were first shown off on a January 16, 2026 developer livestream event, held just under a week before the game launches for PC, mobile, and PS5 on January 22.
Arknights: Endfield Official Release Trailer "Back to Endfield"
The Arknights: Endfield trailers focus on the environments and story of the game, along with both the player avatar (the "Endministrator") and the playable characters (called "Operators") that will be available at the game's launch. Characters Pogranichnik, Ember, Ardelia, Gilberta, Yvonne, Chen Qianyu, Wulfgard, Rossi, Da Pan, Tangtang, Lifeng, Mi Fu, Zhuang Fangyi, Laevatain, and Perlica all feature prominently. The game itself takes place on the planet of Talos-II, a frontier world separate from the original Arknights world of Terra. The Endministrator awakens from hibernation to lead Endfield Industries and establish new infrastructure to defend the planet's fledgling settlements against various threats. To do so they'll use the Automated Industrial Complex, which can instantly summon buildings and factories from Endfield Industries' orbiting headquarters, the spaceship OMV Dijiang.

Global publisher GRYPHLINE is ramping up to the launch of its highly anticipated 3D Industrial RPG Arknights: Endfield with the release of two brand-new trailers. During today’s developer livestream, GRYPHLINE premiered the official release trailer and the ‘New Horizons’ gameplay trailer, providing a detailed look at the world of Talos-II before the title’s official launch. The release trailer features cinematic animations set against the high-octane original anthem “We Are Empire” by rock band STARSET, while the ‘New Horizons’ trailer highlights the game’s vast industrial landscapes, specialized operators, and unfolding mystery.
Arknights: Endfield is set to launch on Jan. 22, 2026, on PlayStationⓇ5, PC via the official launcher and Epic Games Store, and mobile devices via Apple App Store and Google Play Store, as a free-to-play title with in-game purchases. It is the latest entry set in the popular Arknights universe, and has already garnered more than 35 million pre-registrations worldwide. To celebrate the milestone, all community rewards and special gifts revealed during the livestream will be available for players to claim starting on launch day.
Arknights: Endfield introduces a new frontier storyline and a world built around exploration, strategic real-time combat, and base-building. Players command squads of up to four Operators, combining skills, elemental synergies, and coordinated tactics across fast-paced encounters. The story follows the Endministrator (Endmin) – a legendary guardian awakened from a ten-year hibernation to lead Endfield Industries from their orbital headquarters, the OMV Dijiang.
On Talos-II, players harness the Automated Industrial Complex (AIC), a system used to architect integrated production networks and power grids across the wilderness. As the Endmin, players must manage these facilities while defending the Civilization Band from organized raider clans and investigate the origins of their self-commissioned "Zeroth Directive".
Arknights: Endfield leverages the latest graphical technologies, including native 120 FPS support, realistic snow-stepping, environmental puddle reflections, and more. Players can also toggle NVIDIA DLSS Super Resolution and Frame Generation independently. The title includes plug-and-play support for both PlayStation (DualSense & DualShock) and Xbox controllers with haptic feedback for a premium, tactile experience.
