Warframe for Android launches on February 18, Switch 2 version launched Q1 2026 with 1080p 60fps support
During its first Devstream of 2026, Digital Extremes announced that Warframe for Android will launch on February 18, revealed that the Switch 2 native release will run at 1080p 60fps, and also revealed the game's next update: The Shadowgrapher.
The Shadowgrapher launches for all platforms in March. Warframe for Nintendo Switch 2 will launch later in Q1 2026 and it features 1080p 60fps support docked and handheld, mouse controls, improved shaders, and more. With the Switch 2 and Android launches, Warframe will be playable on all current platforms and it also supports cross play and cross save.

Digital Extremes held its first Devstream of the year and revealed Warframe on Android’s release date, Wednesday, Feb. 18, as well as the game’s next update, The Shadowgrapher, set to arrive for all platforms for free in March. The dev team showcased a new playable Warframe and fresh cosmetic skins, among other major details, including new features around Warframe on Nintendo Switch 2, new TennoVIP community event locations, and the 2025 Warframe Year in Review stats. The studio also discussed the return of limited seasonal in-game events full of rewards, like Star Days and Lunar New Year festivities.
“We are one step closer to making Warframe playable on every current-gen platform with the upcoming launch on Android devices,” said Megan Everett, Community Director. “It’s always been our goal to make Warframe as accessible as possible. Our game has a little something to offer for everyone, and this is the next major step to sharing the Warframeexperience with new Tenno around the world. Jump into Warframe on Android and explore the Origin System with friends across other platforms via Cross Play/Save on Wednesday, Feb. 18:
Canadian residents can get an early look at Warframe on Android with a soft launch in the region beginning Wednesday, Feb. 11.
Obtain exclusive rewards by downloading and logging into Warframe on Android by March 4 to receive the Cumulus Collection, offering special weapon and armor cosmetics as well as resource boosters.
Warframe will be compatible with Android devices running 64-bit Android on an ARM64 processor, Android OS 12.0 or higher, and a minimum RAM of 4GB.
Return to the ruins of the Vesper Relay and uncover the stained story of a lost Archimedean in The Shadowgrapher update:
