Pixel-art RPG Manafinder II set to release for PC in 2027

Wolfsden has announced Manafinder II, a pixel-art turn-based RPG set to release in 2027 for PC (Steam).

The game is described as a sequel to the original Manafinder, which was released in 2022. However, while Wolfsden states there will be connections between the two games, Manafinder II is also described as a stand-alone experience.

An announcement trailer, description, and screenshot set can be found below, via Wolfsden. The official website is here.

Manafinder II will be releasing on Steam in 2027. The fantasy turn-based RPG by developer Wolfsden LLC invites players to take the role of Rey and fight ferocious beasts and other existential threats alongside a disparate cast of allies as you seek a new purpose in a world that no longer welcomes you.

Overview

Most living beings have moved on from the eradication of mankind, but there are those who still want to ensure the job is complete.

Human settlements have become naught but ruins, filled with the misanthropic Purged. The rest of Theia remains as wild as ever. As the last known human survivor, Rey has opted to "rot away" in isolation, that is, until his wolf-like Luperci friend Remus brings him some tidings that will forever change his life...

The world does not need saving; you do

Manafinder II is a console-style RPG with turn-based combat that emphasizes party member roles, weapon selection, and elemental affinities.

Explore an array of diverse environments such as the dense fungiares, the Luperci town of Alba, or the human ruins of Cuauhtla as you fight against ferocious beasts, the Purged, and other threats!

Immerse yourself in this tale of hope and despair, duty and futility, love and anger, fantasy and morality, but ultimately about survival.

Manafinder II is the sequel to the 2022 debut game by Wolfsden LLC: Manafinder. While connected, players do not need to have played 2022's Manafinder in order to enjoy Manafinder II.

Players can wishlist Manafinder II starting today on Steam.
