Digimon Story: Time Stranger Nintendo Switch 2 and Switch resolution and frame rate targets revealed
Bandai Namco has revealed the Digimon Story: Time Stranger Nintendo Switch 2 and Switch resolution and frame rate targets on the official Japanese website.
The official website confirms that Switch 2 in quality mode will support 4K, HDR, and up to 30fps docked. Handheld in quality mode will be 1080p and up to 30fps with HDR. Performance mode will not support HDR and it will target 1080p and up to 60fps both docked and handheld. It is worth noting that as per the official website, Switch 2 in quality mode is the only platform with HDR right now. Bandai Namco confirmed that the performance mode options are coming to PS5 and Xbox, but there are no details on the resolution yet.
One more thing to note is that PS5 and Xbox consoles just have the frame rate as 30fps right now. The frame rate for Switch 2 quality mode and Switch is listed as up to 30fps implying that it isn't a solid 30fps. Switch 1 targets 1080p and up to 30fps docked with 720p and up to 30fps handheld.
