2009 Japanese flip phone SRPG Namco Chronicle gets a G-Mode Archives port for Switch and PC Steam on May 28
G-Mode has revealed that they will very soon release the G-Mode Archives ports of Namco Chronicle. The ports will appear simultaneously on PC via Steam, as well as Nintendo Switch via the Japanese Nintendo eShop, on May 28 at midnight in Japan's time zone (UTC+9).
This port was originally revealed at the same time as the one for Xenosaga: Pied Piper, but the latter came out first on April 30. The release date for the Namco Chronicle port was not known prior to today's announcement.
In the Japanese press release, G-Mode also shared artwork featuring some of the characters from classic Namco franchises that appear in this game:
- Valkyrie from Valkyrie's Adventure: Legend of the Key of Time
- Gil from The Tower of Druaga
- Bravoman
- Mappy
- Taira-no-Kagekiyo from Genpei Touma-den
- Wagyan from Wagyan Land
