Demon Kill Demon ~Yomi 1984~ gets multiple update patches adding end-game and post-game content
Update (June 24)
Experience is releasing another update patch for Demon Kill Demon ~Yomi 1984~ on June 25. This patch primarily adds 3 new powerful Unique Equipment items that can be dropped from defeated enemy monsters.
One of the new items added with this patch is Drill Muramasa, which has its attack power grow based on the wielder's level. The other two items are Neck Doll Rosa and the Magic Bakyun gun.
The company added that this patch also comes with more features like "optional choices of characters' genders" and "shorter path to access the Save command".
Original (June 5)
Experience has revealed that they will release an update patch for Demon Kill Demon ~Yomi 1984~ — which is already available in Japan for Nintendo Switch — on June 11. This patch will primarily add a post-game mode to the Revenge Arc, which is available as a separate DLC for those who purchase the game's digital release.
The patch will add a new group of labyrinths reconstructed by K. While still based on the existing labyrinths, their inner structures and enemy lineups have been changed to become even more dangerous. Progressing through these labyrinths will also let you fight stronger enemies to obtain new equipment for your party. The same patch will also add a new character portrait and increase the maximum damage value limit.
To prepare a compatible save for this new patch, players will need to have finished the Revenge Arc by defeating the final boss and create a game-cleared save when prompted after the credits roll. After the patch has arrived, selecting Continue with this save will put you back right before the final boss fight, but your party's levels and items will retain their states from right after the fight.
