Wuthering Waves x Cyberpunk: Edgerunners collaboration gets new trailer during Summer Game Fest

Ahead of its full release on June 8, Kuro Games has shared a new Wuthering Waves Cyberpunk: Edgerunners collaboration trailer during Summer Game Fest.

The trailer goes over Lucy and Rebecca's arrival in Wuthering Waves, the continuation of Lucy's story from the anime, and more. Wuthering Waves is now available on iOS, Android, PC, PlayStation 5, and PC (Steam). It launches in July for Xbox Series. Read my impressions with it on PS5 Pro here.

You can find the new Wuthering Waves Cyberpunk: Edgerunners Summer Game Fest 2026 trailer with more information from Kuro Games below:

Released ahead of Version 3.4’s launch on June 8, the trailer offers a final look at The Dream Not Dreamed, including Lucy and Rebecca’s arrival in Wuthering Waves and the continuation of Lucy Kushinada’s story following the events of the anime.

Version 3.4, The Dream Not Dreamed, will introduce the new permanent Episodic Quest At Dream’s Edge. Following a sudden disturbance in the Somnoire, Rovers will encounter Lucy and Rebecca, visitors from another world, as they move between reality and dreams to confront a new crisis at the heart of the collaboration.

The update will also introduce Somnoire: Night City, a new area inspired by Lucy’s memories, alongside new enemies including Nightmare: Adam Smasher and multiple Corpo-themed Nightmare foes. Lucy and Rebecca will both appear as new collaboration Resonators, with players able to claim 5-Star Resonator Rebecca for free by taking part in the Instant Flashlight event.

The trailer runs over one minute long and spotlights the scale of the collaboration between Kuro Games and CD PROJEKT RED, giving players a closer look at how the world of Cyberpunk: Edgerunners is being brought into Wuthering Waves. It also includes a brief first-look tease at a future area, inviting speculation around a new map and where Wuthering Waves may be heading beyond Version 3.4.
