Final Fantasy X & X-2 HD Remaster launches on July 23 for Nintendo Switch 2

Square Enix just announced that Final Fantasy X & X-2 HD Remaster will be coming to Nintendo Switch 2 on July 23.

Pre-orders are now live here for $49.99 which is what the Switch 1 version is priced at with PS4 and Steam being chapter. The page mentions save data is incompatible between Switch and Switch 2 versions.

The physical release launches a month later in Japan and it will be a Game-Key Card release. An upgrade path has not been revealed yet. It is priced at 7480 Yen in Japan. The Western release appears to be digital-only going by this Tweet.
