Global game publisher GRYPHLINE revealed the “Back to the North” trailer for Arknights: Endfield during IGN Live this weekend, offering an early look at the game’s next update and the return of Arcane, captain of the Yinglung Special Task Force. The new trailer signals the next step for Arknights: Endfield as the game continues to expand its story, world and real-time squad combat. Built around Endfield’s industrial sci-fi identity, the upcoming update will bring players deeper into the frontier with new narrative developments, combat encounters and character-driven content.
The latest entry in the popular Arknights universe, Arknights: Endfield marks the first time the IP has expanded beyond mobile, bringing its signature strategic depth to console and PC. Arknights: Endfield builds off the wildly popular Arknightsexperience, which has exceeded 100 million downloads to date, by introducing a new frontier storyline and a world built around exploration, real-time combat and base-building.
Recognized by critics and fans for its stunning visuals and unique blend of genres, the game supports cross-platform progression and leverages the latest graphical technologies, including native 120 FPS support, realistic snow-stepping and environmental puddle reflections, as well as the option to independently toggle NVIDIA DLSS Super Resolution and Frame Generation. Arknights: Endfield is free to play, and ongoing free content updates have been released as part of an ambitious post-launch roadmap with new Operators, maps, boss fights and gameplay mechanics. Recently, the title was a finalist in the “Visuals and Graphics” category of the 2026 Apple Design Awards.
