Oni Zero: Revival Reboot will have playable Switch demo at Konami booth in TGS 2026
Takiya Iijima has revealed that he is working with Mebius to reboot Oni Zero: Fukkatsu with a new Nintendo Switch version. Mebius will bring a playable demo build of the reboot to Konami's booth at Tokyo Game Show 2026. Konami has also published an English webpage for this game, which also confirms Oni Zero: Revival as its official English title (although it is still unconfirmed whether this reboot will also have an actual localization or not)
Oni Zero: Revival is an RPG that was originally released for the first PlayStation in Japan in March 2001. It features a story written by Iijima, which takes place in Heian-era Japan. This announcement would be completely different from the Oni Zero Cross project announced last year, which would be based on the 1995 release of Sengoku Cyber: Fujimaru Jigokuhen.

Takiya Iijima also noted in his tweet that the primary reveal for Oni Zero: Revival Reboot will be made next week. We will likely learn more details about this reboot, including its release window, at that time.
