Chrono Trigger Orchestral Concert will also be held in Osaka on February 12-13, 2027

Square Enix has announced that they will hold another Chrono Trigger Orchestral Concert: Melodies Across Time at the main hall of Osaka International Convention Center (a.k.a. Grand Cube Osaka) on February 12-13, 2027. This new show in Japan is being held following the success of the first concert that was held in Tokyo last January.

Just like the previous Tokyo concerts, Nicholas Buc will return as the conductor for the Osaka concerts. However, the newer concerts will have a couple of differences: The locally based Osaka Symphony Orchestra will be the group performing here, and there will be only one ticket seating tier available with all tickets priced the same at ¥11,000 apiece.

The new Osaka shows for the Chrono Trigger 30th anniversary concert will be held three times, with the exact times in JST (UTC+9) as follows:

  • Friday, February 12, 2027
    • Single show on this day: Venue opens at 18:00; Concert starts at 19:00
  • Saturday, February 13, 2027
    • 1st show: Venue opens at 11:00; Concert starts at 12:00
    • 2nd show: Venue opens at 16:00; Concert starts at 17:00

As a reminder, Square Enix is also going to hold the Chrono Trigger Orchestral Concert across North America—or the United States, to be more precise—this October. The concerts will be available in New York on October 10, Chicago on October 14, and Los Angeles on October 18.
