Fate/Extra Record launches January 28, 2027

During Sony's State of Play, Aniplex announced that Fate/Extra Record will launch on January 28, 2027. The Western release will be handled by XSEED Games in North America and Marvelous Europe in Europe.

Available worldwide on January 28th, 2027. Originally released on July 22, 2010 in Japan, as the Fate series' very first RPG, [Fate/EXTRA] is back and fully remade for modern platforms.
Featuring an expanded scenario, completely overhauled character graphics, and a highly strategic deck-building dramatic command battle system, the game modernizes both visuals and mechanics.
It delivers a highly accessible entry point for newcomers, while offering a fresh, exciting experience for returning fans of the original.

XSEED Games also confirmed the physical release plans and it will get a full game on cart Switch 2 release for North America. The JP and EU physical releases on Switch 2 will be Game-Key Cards.

Fate/Extra Record launches on January 28, 2027 for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch 1, Switch 2, and PC (Steam).
