Fate/Extra Record Showcase trailer explains the remake's gameplay systems in more detail

Type-Moon has published a new Showcase trailer for Fate/Extra Record. Although this long trailer runs for around 17 minutes in total, it has roughly 13 minutes explaining the gameplay systems in this upcoming remake of the PlayStation Portable RPG Fate/Extra.

In addition, this trailer also confirmed that a playable demo build of Fate/Extra Record will be available at Aniplex's booth in Tokyo Game Show 2026, which will run on September 17-21 at Makuhari Messe in Japan.

While the original trailer is available in Japanese text and voiceover, Type-Moon has also published another version that includes English subtitles, and you can find the latter right below. However, be advised that YouTube has applied its auto-dubbing feature that forcefully changes the Japanese voiceover to English via AI if your site language is set to English.

Fate/Extra Record will be available simultaneously worldwide for PlayStation 4&5, Nintendo Switch 1&2, and PC via Steam on January 28, 2027 . It will be published by Aniplex in Japan, XSEED Games in North America, and Marvelous Europe in Europe.
