Square Enix Tokyo Game Show 2026 title lineup revealed
Square Enix has set up a webpage detailing their appearance in the upcoming Tokyo Game Show 2026, which will take place at Makuhari Messe in Japan on September 17-21. The company has also listed a summary of titles they will showcase at the event.
The following two games will be the biggest highlights for Square Enix at TGS 2026: Final Fantasy VII Revelation and Final Fantasy Resonance. Both games will have playable demos at the venue. The Square Enix booth will also have photo spots for both titles—for FFVII Revelation, it will also include progression throughout the whole FFVII Remake Trilogy with Final Fantasy VII Remake and Final Fantasy VII Rebirth also available for photos.
Dragon Quest Monsters: The Withered World (originally known in Japan as Dragon Quest Monsters 4: Bianca & Flora from the Country of Withered Tree) will also be featured to some extent. Although it won't have a demo build available, Square Enix will hold a meet-and-greet session with Fluffy, along with giveaways of goods themed after the game.
As for the list of games lower down the webpage, while the English version simply names it "Lineup", the Japanese version more specifically labels it as "Titles that will have their trailers screened". This means the Square Enix booth at TGS 2026 will have a video screen that rotates the trailers from the following games:
- Final Fantasy VII Revelation
- Final Fantasy XIV: Evercold
- Final Fantasy Resonance
- Dragon Quest Monsters: The Withered World
- Dragon Quest XI S: Echoes of an Elusive Age - Definitive Edition
- Kingdom Hearts Collection [I~III]
- Kingdom Hearts IV
- Dragon Quest X Online
- Dissidia Duellum Final Fantasy
- Dragon Quest Smash/Grow
The rest of the highlights will only appear on the public days on September 19-21. The Moogle and Alpha the Chocobo from Final Fantasy XIV will appear sporadically during the public days. The Family Game Park will also feature a playable demo of Dragon Quest VII Reimagined.
