Official screens of The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker for Wii U

Nintendo has released a few official screenshots of The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker for Wii U, the newly announced version of the title that will drag the game into high definition on the Wii U.

The game is to be released as a stop-gap between the system's launch and the first fully-fledged all-new Zelda title for the machine, which was also confirmed to be in production today. Check out the first images of the game running in high definition with new textures below.
