The Final Fantasy VII PS4 port gets a price
Square Enix has confirmed European pricing of their Final Fantasy VII PC port for PlayStation 4, revealing that this slightly-improved version of the game will retail for £12.99/€15.99 when it arrives on Sony's online marketplace.
The current version of Final Fantasy VII available on PlayStation Network which works on PSP, PS3 and PS Vita currently retails for £7.99/€9.99. While the PC version of FF7 features achievements and some cheat options, it is otherwise identical to that release - so mull over if you think it's worthwhile!
The game was announced last week at Sony's PlayStation Experience event where, in incredible scenes, Square Enix appeared to be announcing a full-blown remake of the game based on the announcement wording, but then ran a trailer of a simple port of the already-rocky PC version of FF7, still running in 4:3 and with its iconically aged visuals.
The release will arrive in the Spring of 2015 alongside a newly announced PS4 port of Final Fantasy X & X-2 HD Remaster.
