The main protagonist is named Keisuke Amazawa and he's been accused to a crime he  is not aware of. Rather than being a full-on sequel, Cyber Sleuth Hacker’s Memory shows an alternate persepctive to the story of the original Cyber Sleuth, and the original game will also be included in this new title. The story content is said to be comparable to the first game, and that there will be 320 Digimon (73 of which are new) and 90 maps (30 of which are new), alongside new skills and battle strategies.

There's also a short video showing footage from the new game:

While there is no official word of an English release yet, recent localization history looks promising for the Digimon franchise, and Bandai Namco has trademarked "Hacker's Memory" in Europe.
