A couple weeks ago, Square Enix announced they will be released Romancing SaGa 3 for smartphones and PlayStation Vita, marking the first time the game has been remastered since it was released all the way back in 1995. Aside from offering redone artwork for characters, background, and game menus, series creator Akitoshi Kawazu confirmed in an interview with 4Gamer the game would be receiving all-new content as well. According to the article, that could mean new settings and scenarios, including bringing characters forward that weren't previously expanded upon.
Just like Romancing SaGa 2, Romancing SaGa 3 has previously never been released in the west, but there appears to be some good news. Responding to a query from a fan on Twitter about whether Romancing SaGa 3 would be released in the west, Kawazu answered in the affirmative.
We will make western version RS3. It will be after the Japanese version. But, at first, RS2 Vita for West. I want your patience, please.
So not only do we have the confirmation RS3 will arrive here, but also re-affirmation the Vita port of Romancing SaGa 2 is still going to be brought to us sometime in the future. One can hope it won't take too long to have both of them in our hands.
