Romancing SaGa 2 heading to Vita and 'other consoles' next month in the west

Last year, Romancing SaGa 2 got a surprise localization when it released for iOS and Android devices, 23 years after its original release on the Super Famicom. The new port was also released on PlayStation Vita in Japan, and while an English Vita release was repeatedly stated to happen, it never materialized up to now.

After months of silence, SaGa series designer Akitoshi Kawazu took to Twitter to confirm that Romancing SaGa 2 is heading to Vita, as well as 'other consoles', next month. Details on which consoles the game will be made available on are still unclear, as is the specific release date, but English players will finally be able to get a hand on this classic game soon. We'll have more details when Square Enix announces them, of course.
