Tetracast - Episode 116: Silicon Studio Drops a Bombshell

Welcome to the latest edition of the Tetracast, RPG Site's weekly podcast!

We're coming down from the high that was E3, and many of us are still trying to recover from the around-the-clock coverage that type of event demands. The good news is, it involved playing some video games. While James was busy getting into Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn for the first time and taking in the hand-drawn visuals of Hollow Knight, Zack was hopping back into Kingdom Hearts 1.5 HD Remix.

As one can imagine, it was a bit of slow news week as a lot of big stories broke during E3 which we covered in our previous podcast. However, there are still some gems worth bringing up including the announcement Life Is Strange 2 will be here at the end of September. That's in the short term, but in the long term, Bandai Namco is chatting up the next entry in the Tales series. We hope they try to be as ambitious as Compile Heart appears to be with their next original IP, Varnir of the Dragon Star. In a bit of bad news, though, Silicon Studio just can't handle the high demands of game development and announced plans they are divesting their efforts into a subsidiary. Finally, we talk a little bit about Summer Games Done Quick 2018 which kicks off tomorrow. All that and more on the latest podcast!

Note: Apologies for the audio quality during the podcast. Zack had issues with his mic.
