Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles Remastered Edition comes to Nintendo Switch and PS4 in 2019

It has been quite some time since anything has been mentioned about the Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles series. However, today during Sony PlayStation LineUp Tour a remastered version of the Gamecube classic was announced. One of the main features showed in the trailer was the ability to cooperate with friends globally online.

While Crystal Chronicles did have multiplayer for the original release it was only available locally and players were required to have up to two GameBoy Advance handheld consoles (with four players being the maximum) along with connector cables in order to adventure together. This remaster presents a new and exciting possibility to cooperate with friends from all over the world.

Additionally, an official Japanese website has popped up and provided a trailer that you can check out below. This remaster is set to release on both PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch.

Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles Remastered Edition is set to release in 2019.
