Ni no Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom - The Lair of the Lost Lord releases later this week.

Revealed back in the summer and detailed in October, Bandai Namco has announced that The Lair of the Lost Lord DLC for Ni no Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom will release on December 13. This DLC pack will center around a new challenge dungeon known simply as the Labyrinth, introducing new enemies and challenges for players to overcome. Take a look at the trailer below for a first look:

The 'Martial Method" is an addition of sorts to the game's battle system. The two examples given in the trailer are "Gizmo Supremo" which gives access to hi-tech gadgets, as well as the awkwardly named "Ding Dong Discipline", a combat method inherited by the kingdom's finest warriors. There will also be new quests and boss encounters, as well as new equipment for each of the party members.

For those looking for a more story-focused add-on content for the game, the second paid DLC pack coming early next year is slated to be a story-expansion. Alongside the paid DLC, a free update will increase the max level cap to 120, as well as fix some unlisted minor issues.
