The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt - Complete Edition releases for Nintendo Switch on October 15

After coming out of left field during E3 2019's Nintendo Direct CD Projekt Red announced today that the Nintendo Switch version of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt will arrive on the portable console on October 15. Along with the announcement comes a new trailer revealing the date and introducing the general premise.

In addition to the release date trailer, CD Projekt also uploaded a 40-minute gameplay overview hosted by community manager Pavel Burza and lead quest design Pawel Sasko. The overview showcases everything from questing, story beats, as well as provide a fuller look about how good the game looks and how well it runs, of course. The gameplay section itself is from the Blood and Wine expansion to the base game.

Lastly, we were able to spend some time with the port ourselves to get some hands-on experience with the Switch version. Our ten minutes of footage is from the Skellige region of the game.

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt originally released for PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4 on May 19, 2015.
