Monster Hunter World: Iceborne to add Rajang with a post-release update in October 2019

The major expansion to Capcom's blockbuster game Monster Hunter World: Iceborne is almost upon us, and they're pulling out all the stops to hype up the release. Capcom has today published yet another trailer for Iceborne, revealing that another veteran monster Rajang will be added through a free title update scheduled in this October.

While previous reveals up to Yian Garuga and Zinogre should be included at launch, Rajang will be the first monster to be added through a post-release update in Iceborne's lifespan. This follows the same approach that Capcom did to the base game when they added Deviljho, Kulve Taroth, and Lunastra through free updates, as well as guest monsters Behemoth and Leshen from collaborations with Final Fantasy XIV and The Witcher 3 respectively.

You can watch the new trailer featuring Rajang, which has been officially published by Capcom, right below.

Monster Hunter World: Iceborne will be released for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One later this week on September 6, with a PC release to follow in January 2020.
