Square Enix has posted the Tokyo Game Show 2019 trailer for Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles Remastered Edition, giving us the game's release date of January 23, 2020. It is set to release on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and mobile devices.
The trailer also highests a few new additions to the remastered version of the game: character voice-overs, new dungeons & bosses, as well as new ways to customize your character appearance. The trailer also states that the game will support cross-play online multiplayer for the game's various platforms. The official Japanese blog also states that the game is cross-progressive, meaning that game progress can be transferred between platforms, but requires purchasing the game on multiple platforms.
