SD Gundam G Generation Cross Rays gives more details on DLC and Custom BGM

Bandai Namco has updated the Japanese official website for SD Gundam G Generation Cross Rays with more details on the Custom BGM feature as well as the first set of DLC revealed recently.

All platform versions of the game will have a BGM Setting menu where the player can freely change BGMs for the following situations:

Up to 6 weapons launched by each recruited pilot
Player's Group formation screen
Series Title selection screen
Common stage map themes for each of player & enemy phases

The Custom BGM feature is only available on PlayStation 4 and PC Steam versions. Only MP3 files with MPEG1Layer3 codec will be supported; a constant bit rate and frequency are also recommended. For the PS4 version, all MP3 files are to be inserted into a folder named GGENEMUSIC in the USB flash drive. As for the Steam version, you can insert files into any single folder in the PC, and the game will have a "Specify Destination Folder" where you can input the folder's location.

The limited Premium G Sound Edition, which contains loopable original theme songs from the anime shows, will be only released on PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch, with the English edition available digitally on Southeast Asian PSN Stores.

The DLC page details the additional Group Dispatch missions, which will unlock content from titles not included in the base game. Each mission will be 180 minutes long unless shortened with the Dispatch Cooldown item, and successfully completing them multiple times will gradually unlock content from the specific title.

Mobile Suit Gundam AGE mission

1st time: Item - Dispatch Cooldown x6, Unit: Gundam AGE-1 Normal
25th time: BGM - Gundam AGE~A Story of 100 Years
50th time: Ability - Determination to become a Savior
75th time: Character - Flit Asuno
100th time: BGM - The Hero Inside You

SD Gundam G Generation Cross Rays will be available worldwide on PC via Steam on November 27. The PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch releases are so far only confirmed for Japan and Asia.
