Kingdom Come: Deliverance Robber Baron side quest guide: how to find Sir Wolflin of Kamberg

The Robber Baron quest in Kingdom Come: Deliverance takes place in a series of quests involving Sir Hans Capon.  Prerequisite quests, such as 'Next to Godliness' and 'Clothes Make the Man' are pretty straightforward on their own - just keep interacting with Capon in Rattay until you complete them, netting yourself some fancy clothes in the process.

If you need help finding Sir Hans Capon, he can often be found at Pirkstein Castle in the mornings, or at one of the Rattay taverns during the day. The Robber Baron quest is a little bit more tricky, and we're here to help players solve it peacefully.

Getting Started with the Robber Baron side quest

Now before you do Robber Baron, you need either a high Speech or Charisma skill to complete the quest peacefully. 13 Charisma is the minimum if you want to go that route, or a Speech stat of 14+ should suffice. Be sure to wash your clothes before going! If you simply just want to kill Wolflin and his gang, then this guide is probably not very useful to you.

Once you start the quest, you'll head out on horseback (and if you need help getting the best horse, we've got a guide on that) to the camp in the woods north of Neuhof. After listening to the chat and reaching camp, talk to Bernard.

[Note: Sometimes glitches will cause the horse-riding sequence to be bugged, where Bernard and company never actually leave Rattay. Just head to camp and wait some time, and Bernard will hopefully show up.]

Choose the options "What Now" and "Wolflin of Kamberg." and exhaust the dialogue options with Bernard.

Ride to the northern farm, marked on your map, and talk to the woman there. Exhaust dialogue options with her, and then you'll need to pass either a Charisma or Speech check to get her to lead you to Wolflin's camp.

You'll get the objective to report back to Bernard, so go do so. Tell him there are about fifteen people at the bandit camp, and then choose "Wouldn't it be better to negotiate?" You'll then need to pass a Speech or Charisma check to convince Bernard to parley. 

Robber Baron - How to Parley with Wolflin

Put on the Oleshnitz waffenrock and unequip your weapon and bow. Travel to the bandit camp and they'll let you talk to Wolflin. In order to get Wolflin to leave peacefully while leaving the loot, you have two options.

1. If you have minimum 13 Charisma, you can select "You can go if you leave the loot." and then  "Sir Hanush has powerful allies, like Sir Radzig." Despite Wolflin having 16 Charisma of his own, you can persuade him to leave.
2. If your Speech skill is high enough, select "I heard your family is cursed." -> "Why are you hurting the Lords of Oleshna?" -> "What about the Land Count?" -> "You can go if you leave the loot." -> "You have no quarrel with Sir Hanush." -> "He knows nothing about it.".  We had 14 Speech and this was successful. As long as you have exhuasted dialogue option with Bernard beforehand, you should get these dialogue options here.

You can also challenge and kill Wolflin in a duel, but he is formidable, and you'll have to either kill the rest of his gang or run for it afterward.

In any case, now all you have to do is go back to Bernard and then Sir Hanush to complete the quest. You get a Magdeburg Cuirass for your efforts. If you have other tips, please leave them in the comments!
