Ni no Kuni II Side Quest 143 Guide: Make My Sister Smile Again

Ni no Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom is full of quests, 175 total in fact. We even have a nifty list that points out each quest, where to get it, and the rewards obtained.

While the majority of quests are largely straightforward, one in particular has a somewhat obscure solution. That quest is #143 titled "Make My Sister Smile Again". This quest is the third of a series of quests involving a little girl in Broadleaf who needs to see a certain Higgledy in order to cheer up. This page will help you solve her problems.

Ni no Kuni II - Quest 143: Make My Sister Smile Again

First of all, it's important to note this quest is obtained in Chapter 9 of the game and follows two other quests involving the girl - 87 & 112 - both of which are easier to complete. You need to create Droop the Drenched and find Slingsby the Scorcher to complete those two quests, respectively. Slingsby is found at a Higgledy Stone in Dynafloor No. 3, requiring Whole Milk.

Quest 143 requires the player to create another certain Higgledy to satisfy her, and with more than 50 Higgledies to make, it can be tough to know which one you need to get.

The Higgledy you want is Jumblie the Lovely, a light elemental. In order to make Jumblie at the Higglery in Evermore, you need some Sheermint, Sour Salts, Rook's Brocade, Night-White Thread, and Enigma Prisms. The menu will tell you where to get the items (press down on the right stick if using a controller), most of which can be gathered in the higher stage facilities of your kingdom.

Ni no Kuni II - Sour Salts at Coral Diadem

The one item that is more tricky is Sour Salts, which the game tells you is at Coral Diadem. The game is not especially clear what this place is, but it is actually the General Store in Hydropolis, near the entrance to the city. Just stop by there real quick and pick up a few Sour Salts, and you should be good to go!

Once you have the items needed, give birth to Jumblie, and then speak with the girl in Broadleaf. Congratulations! You finished one of the trickier quests in the game.
