Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3: Team Bonuses and Bonus Effects listed
Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3 is an unexpected but absolutely welcome return to a series many thought was going to stay dead for a while - and it brings back a lot of the classic features from previous entries including Team Bonuses.
Team Bonuses are essentially statistical buffs that increase the stats of your characters. It's basically designed to give you an edge, with the effects falling into one of six different categories for the stats of each character on your four-hero squad. Team Bonuses can provide a really helpful boost to your power level and can really help you out when tackling difficult challenges such as grinding out XP in the difficult Infinity Trials to level up quickly.
As a warning, this page will contain spoilers, since it talks about every playable hero in the game including the unlockable characters.
How Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3 Team Bonuses work
Team Bonuses are based on the lore that these characters are famous for - so the 'Original Avengers' team bonus triggers when you have some combination of Hulk, Iron Man, Thor and the Wasp in a team together - not Captain America, as he wasn't thawed out of the ice until after the original Avengers squad had been founded.
Teaming up multiple characters that share the same team bonus will effect the entire squad. You don't have to have a squad entirely full of heroes from one team, but if you do the bonus attached to that team will be the most pronounced than if there's only a pair of them.
Some teams have more characters than others - so the Avengers team has enough to make up multiple in-game squads, so any two-to-four from there will trigger the bonus.
