Another Eden Begins  is the debut title from Studio Prisma that is based off the mobile game, Another Eden: The Cat Beyond Time and Space. Think of it like Square Enix's Octopath Traveler 0 and Final Fantasy Resonance. This title covers the entire first story arc of Another Eden, which is lengthier than you might think if you've never played it before. If you are looking to ensure that you get all the playable characters, find all the cats, and 100% all the side quests, then this Another Eden Begins walkthrough is for you.

Similar to other RPG Site walkthroughs, this is a minimalist bullet point guide for those who don't want to dive into a dense, lengthy walkthrough. This guide only covers the first initial playthrough of Another Eden Begins. This title also has an extensive New Game+ feature that adds additional narrative elements, new endings, new NG+ exclusive equipment, and more - but we'll leave it to you to discover that after your first playthrough.

What this walkthrough will do:

• Offer a minimalist walkthrough so you know what you need to do at any point in the game.
• Point out when new characters can be recruited as soon as they become available.
• Point out collectibles when you encounter them, such as Cats, Food, and Secret Shops that sell special items.
• Help out with any tricky dungeon puzzles that you could get stuck on.

What the walkthrough will not do:

• Offer strategies for bosses or how to build your parties - experiment and play your own way!
• Provide step-by-step instructions on how to navigate 100% through dungeons because they're mostly self-explanatory.

1. Dawn Rises in Baruoki

Mayor’s House

• After the opening cutscenes, your adventure begins.
• You start with a Short Sword.
  • The All That's Fit to Hit achievement requires the weapon codex to be completed.
• Press Start / Options to see your Local Map at any time.
• Right now, you’re in the Mayor’s House and can see a treasure chest icon by a green exclamation point (!) icon.
• Grab the treasure chest (the left drawer) to obtain 300 Git and head out.
  • Green exclamation points are main objective points that move the story forward.
  • Whenever I say go to the "main objective", look for these points at the map I indicate.
• Talk to Feinne and obtain a Feinne-Style Homemade Sandwich.
  • The Great Gourmand achievement requires the food codex to be completed, so I'll highlight all obtainable food you can get.
• Exit the Mayor’s House to Baruoki.

Baruoki

• After the battle system tutorial, you get an equippable Village Guard Proof.
  • The Badge Badger achievement requires the badge codex to be completed.
• Climb down the well at your N to find a chest with a Leather Ring. (Aldo himself can’t equip this.)
  • The Te Amo, Mi Armor achievement requires the armor codex to be completed.
• Head W before going to the main objective to see a girl’s balloon fly away.
• Go to the house W of the NE exclamation point.
  • Examine the NE drawer to obtain 3 Low-Grade Thread.
    • The Cat Beyond Free Time and Space achievement requires the item codex to be completed.
• Head NW and see a girl looking for a cat named Soryk.
• Go to the main objective & enter Ashtear’s House.

• Examine the NW drawer to obtain 200 Git.
• Talk to Ashtear.
• Exit to Baruoki.

• Feinne joins your party.
  • She can equip the Leather Ring.

• Proceed to the main objective by entering the well and striking the wall.

    • River of Time Water is a valuable item that allows characters to respec their abilities by refunding all their ability points.

Baruoki

• After some story events, Feinne leaves your party.
  • All her equipment will be returned to your inventory.
  • Future instances of story party members leaving will also be like this.
• Head NW and talk to the cat.
• After some story events, you will obtain the Codex.
  • You can now inspect cats to befriend them.
  • They are marked on your Local Map and will be registered to your Codex upon interaction.
  • The Crazy Cat Collector achievement requires the cat codex to be completed.
  • After registering a cat to your Codex, you can have that specific cat follow Aldo around. Only one cat can follow Aldo at a time.

• You can also enter the Bar at SE of Elzion Gamma District to speak to a Bartender NPC that sells you an Esta-Style Roast Beef dish for 3000 Git. This is a tad too expensive right now, since you might want to stock up on other more useful things, so we’ll revisit this later.

  • They’ll tell you the current Kinship levels & Kinship EXP of all your party members.

• After the story scene, talk to the Minstrel and buy Promised Fruit.
• Talk to the little girl nearby for a scene.
• Go to the main objective.

Elzion Airport

• Traverse through Elzion Airport once more and head to Ishtar’s in Elzion Gamma District.

Elzion Gamma District

• Amy re-joins your party.
• Go to sub objective and start New Encounter: Suzette quest.
  • New Encounter quests use the same symbols as Ally Quests to signify the start (!), ongoing (>>>), and finale (crown) of a questline, but they're all in light blue.
  • Head to sub objective at Industrial Ruins - Area B.
  • Suzette joins your party.

    The secondary party that you can switch to via the Valor command is called the Another Party. Besides the Main Party, there are up to three Another Parties can be set. All characters in an Another Party receive full EXP and Kinship EXP.
    
    As long as a character is put into an Another Party, they will receive full EXP and Kinship EXP. Characters that are not put into either the Main Party or Another Party will receive NO EXP and NO Kinship EXP.
• Jump into bucket and talk to the little creature for an optional boss.
• BOSS: Uquaji
• Go to the main objective, and then head to the next main objective at Baruoki.
