The Outer Worlds for Nintendo Switch Patch 1.2 available now; improves performance, visuals, and other fixes
Private Division has released the long-awaited update patch 1.2 for The Outer Worlds on Nintendo Switch, set to improve visuals, performance, and other fixes made to the game.
The Switch version of the Outer Worlds released just this past Summer, with the port work done by Virtuos Games. After a delay due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the game saw release in June but was marred by poor visuals and performance. Hopefully, this latest patch helps to shape up the Switch port for those looking for a portable experience for the game.
The first of two DLC packs for The Outer Worlds, titled Peril on Gorgon, released last month for PC, PS4, and Xbox One, and we thought it was just okay. This DLC is also slated to come to Nintendo Switch at an undetermined time. The Outer Worlds is also set to release on Steam later this week on October 23, following a year of PC exclusivity on the Epic Games Store.
