Final Fantasy Pixel Remaster Series get Steam pages, first three titles to release on July 28

Square Enix has opened the Steam Store pages for the upcoming Pixel Remaster releases of the first six Final Fantasy titles: Final FantasyFinal Fantasy IIFinal Fantasy IIIFinal Fantasy IVFinal Fantasy V, & Final Fantasy VI

These pages reveal that the first three games are set to release on July 28, with Final Fantasy priced at $11.99, Final Fantasy II priced at $11.99, and Final Fantasy III priced at $17.99. All will have a 20% discount until August 11.

While the public store pages do not show this, the SteamDB package pages for Final Fantasy IV, Final Fantasy V, and Final Fantasy VI currently show that these three titles will also be priced at $17.99, with release dates listed of August 19, September 9, and September 30 respectively. A bundle for all six games is also available on Steam, combining all six titles for $74.82 - a 22% discount.

Additionally, the pages show that each game will have rearranged soundtracks overseen by original composer Nobuo Uematsu, along with new QoL options such as auto-battle and bonus content like a music player. The pages finally state that these remasters are based on the original games, and thus they may not include the additions seen in later releases, such as bonus content in the GBA/PSP versions of the titles.
