Pokemon Scarlet and Violet Blissey Tera Raid rerun kicks off on April 21st

In case you're in the market for a boatload of Tera Shards or Exp Candy, there's a battle you won't want to miss in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet. Alongside the previously scheduled Typhlosion Tera Raid, the game will feature a rerun of a Tera Raid featuring Blissey, the Happiness Pokemon. The Blissey Tera Raid battle kicks off on April 21, 2023, and will run through the weekend to end on April 24, 2023.

The Blissey Tera Raid will once again feature Blissey, which evolves from Chansey. Chansey, Blissey, and their base Pokemon form, Happiny, all appeared in Pokemon Gold and Silver back in 1999. Blisseys can detect sadness, and will unfailingly rush to aid anyone feeling down or hurt. They'll often share a bite of the egg they carry, which can put the recipient in a state of pleasant satisfaction. A Blissey appeared as a companion to Nurse Joy in the Pokemon anime adaptation, as well.

The Tera Raid featuring Blissey in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet is a 5-Star battle. As an event Tera Raid, the battle will drop additional Exp Candy and Tera Shards, valuable resources for trainers looking to quickly level their battle parties.

Pokemon Scarlet and Violet are available on the Nintendo Switch. The game's Hidden Treasure of Area Zero DLC expansion launches in Fall 2023.
