Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door for Nintendo Switch launches on May 23

As a part of today's Mario Day celebrations (March 10, stylized as MAR10), Nintendo has announced that the upcoming Switch version of Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door will launch on May 23. The Nintendo eShop page is here.

The announcement originally came in a MAR10 Day 2024 YouTube video. While the first 2:15 of the video discusses the announcement of a 2nd Super Mario Bros. move, the end of the video quickly reveals the release date for The Thousand-Year Door (as well as a June 27 release date for Luigi's Mansion 2 HD).

We're still waiting to see what other types of enhancements or additions might be made to this new version of The Thousand-Year Door. In the meantime, you can check out the announcement trailer and several screenshots from the game's announcement last Fall.
