Level-5 has formally dissolved the Level5 comcept subsidiary established with Keiji Inafune
Level-5 has formally dissolved Level5 comcept, the subsidiary company established in cooperation with Keiji Inafune, on April 30 this year. This revelation was made via a telegram sent today (May 15) to shareholders.
Level5 comcept was established in June 2017 with Keiji Inafune as the head when he joined Level-5. This subsidiary would later become known to be in charge of developing Fantasy Life i: The Girl Who Steals Time. However, Inafune ended up leaving the whole group in mid-2024. This prompted Level-5's CEO Akihiro Hino to overhaul the game's development structure this March.
Earlier this year on March 3, the company set up a new office in Osaka, which also inherits all the businesses previously conducted by Level5 comcept—including the Fantasy Life i development team. As such, there are no more reasons for Level-5 to keep intact the subsidiary that has lost the key figure.
