The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is getting cross platform mod support on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC later this year

CD Projekt Red just announced that The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt will be getting cross platform mod support later this year for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.

This mod support will be done through mod.io and CD Projekt Red has posted an FAQ going over how mods cannot be created on console, what mods have the best chance of being approved for console, the mod.io account required, and much more. The Witcher 3 cross platform mod support update is set for later this year and it will be coming to the current generation version on console and PC platforms. 

CD Projekt Red recently confirmed that The Witcher 3 has hit 60 million units sold worldwide.

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is now available on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC (Steam and GOG). The cross platform modding support will be coming to PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC only going by today's announcement.
