Warframe's Caliban Prime will arrive on August 26 ahead of The Old Peace later this year

Following its tease during TennoCon 2025, Digital Extremes has announced that Warframe's next Prime Warframe, Caliban, will launch on August 26 ahead of The Old Peace later this year.

Alongside Caliban Prime's release date, we also have new screenshots and details for his abilities, weaponry, and more. As usual, Warframe players can also earn Caliban Prime for free (with his signature weapons) by collecting the relevant Blueprints via Void Relics and crafting his components in the Foundry. 

Before TennoCon, Digital Extremes also confirmed that it is waiting on Nintendo Switch 2 devkits, but is excited to take advantage of the new console features. Read about that here.

Warframe is now available on PC, PS5, PS4, Xbox, Nintendo Switch, and iOS. It is heading into closed beta on Android this Fall.

As Digital Extremes prepares to introduce players to The Old Peace later this year, the studio debuts its latest Prime Warframe, Caliban, arriving for all platforms on Tuesday, Aug. 26. First teased at TennoCon, players can summon the combined powers of the Orokin and Sentient technological empires as a master of adaptability on the battlefield with increased energy, shields, and an extra Attack Polarity to hunt down enemies of a dueling dynasty in signature gold trim.

Harness the power of Caliban Prime to:

  • Embody Caliban, the heir of two kingdoms, an ancient survivor of The Old War who was uncovered from the wreckage. Originally created to specifically hunt down the Tenno by the Sentient warlord, Erra, he is now free of his creator’s clutches, joining an arsenal of Warframes to restore his own honor.

  • Dash forward as a spinning vortex to cut down enemies, slam the ground with a wrathful strike, summon Prime versions of his Sentient constructs, Conculyst, Ortholyst, and Summulyst, to further damage foes or buff defenses, as well as catch enemies in three streams of devastating raw energy that converge into one giant blast.

  • Equip the latest in Prime weaponry: Caliban’s signature melee scythe, Venato Prime, and a never-before-seen sniper rifle uncovered from the Orokin archives, Vadarya Prime.

  • Elevate futuristic fashion with exclusive cosmetics, including the Neurovyre Prime Syandana backpiece, the Tauron Prime Regalia outfit for the Operator and Drifter, exclusive Caliban Prime Glyphs, as well as 90-Day Affinity and Resource Boosters.

Players can earn Caliban Prime for free, along with his signature weapons, by collecting the required Blueprints via Void Relics and crafting his components in the Foundry.
