Shiren the Wanderer 6 mini-concert with traditional Japanese instruments will be held in Tokyo on December 6

A mini-concert featuring tracks from the latest Shiren the Wanderer entry with traditional Japanese instruments will be held in Shinjuku, Tokyo, Japan, on December 6. It will be based on the sixth mainline Shiren the Wanderer title, which is formally known in English as Shiren the Wanderer: The Mystery Dungeon of Serpentcoil Island.

The Famikoto group will perform in-game tracks with instruments like koto, shamisen, and shakuhachi in this concert, which will take place at the event space on the 8th floor of Shinjuku Marui Men. The concert will be held twice: at 14:00 and 17:00 JST. The game's original composer Keisuke Ito will also be present as a special guest.

This concert will also be actually part of a temporary pop-up shop celebrating the 30th anniversary of the Shiren the Wanderer series, and the method to gain access to the concert will be directly related to that. The pop-up store will open at the same venue from November 28 to December 14.

Visitors who made at least 5,000 yen worth of purchases in a single receipt at the pop-up store by December 6 will be eligible to join a lottery to get priority entry tickets to the concert. Those who apply on December 6 at 11:00~13:30 JST can get tickets for the daytime concert at 14:00 JST, and a later session at 14:00~16:30 will be for the evening concert at 17:00 JST instead. However, those who did not apply may still be able to watch if there are still some spare seats available.

Shiren the Wanderer: The Mystery Dungeon of Serpentcoil Island is currently available worldwide on Nintendo Switch and PC via Steam. Spike Chunsoft also recently announced plans to release mobile versions of the game for iOS and Android in Japan.
