Warframe – Jade Shadows: Constellations launches in July for all platforms
Digital Extremes has announced Warframe's next narrative chapter Jade Shadows: Constellations, launching this July for all platforms.
Alongside the announcement, Digital Extremes has shared new trailers featuring music from progressive metalcore band ERRA. Digital Extremes, the developers of Warframe, progressive metalcore band ERRA, and BAFTA-nominated animation arthouse THE LINE have united to collaboratively release a new anime-inspired short revealing Jade Shadows: Constellations, a new Narrative Chapter for Warframe, launching for free on all platforms in June. Directed by Louve Sarfati Karnas (Hades II Cinematic Animated Trailer) and Warframe Creative Director, Rebecca Ford, the animated short follows rivals from two future timelines in a cosmic battle within the fan-favorite sci-fi epic.

"I feel like nostalgia is inherently a huge part of a director’s inspirations. I’m a very nostalgic person,” said Louve Sarfati Karnas, THE LINE Director. “I grew up with punk music – from my brother’s bedroom where he would be playing guitar while I played the Super Nintendo, to my parents’ car when going on trips. I would listen to all my favourite albums on my first MP3 while coming back from school. I always imagined myself being in the band performing, or stories unfolding of epic proportions. This film is the embodiment of all these memories."
Following the trailer reveal, the Warframe dev team also treated viewers to a few more details for Jade Shadows: Constellations, including a brief insight into the new Quest, a look at upcoming Protoframes for Ash and Garuda, an ability retouch for Nidus, and the return of the Operation: Belly of the Beast in-game clan event in May.
