Sea of Stars is now available for Nintendo Switch 2 in Japan

Sabotage Studio's Sea of Stars is now available on the eShop in Japan.

A Switch 2 port has not been announced, and the eShop page confirms save data from the Switch 1 version is not compatible with Sea of Stars on Switch 2.

It is priced at 4,400 Yen and includes the Throes of the Watchmaker DLC in the base release on Switch 2. The full translation of the Switch 2 information on the store page can be found below:

This title is a Nintendo Switch 2-exclusive software. The software for Nintendo Switch (1) is available separately. Please be careful about duplicate purchases.

There is no compatibility with the save data of the Nintendo Switch (1) software.

Sea of Stars is now available on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, iOS, Android, and PC (Steam). Sea of Stars for Switch 2 is currently available in Japan.
