Tales of Arise Artifacts | Artifact List, Locations, Effects, and how to use

Artifacts are one of the gameplay elements new to Tales of Arise. Artifact is of course a pretty common term in RPGs, and the Tales of Arise Artifacts have a functionality that is pretty much exactly what you'd expect of them.

Artifacts are are key item collectables the the player can find or earn throughout their adventure that offer bonuses, such as better cooking effects, more EXP, or more ore collection. Several of these artifacts will also allow the player to carry over certain things into the Tales of Arise New Game Plus mode.

There are 23 artifacts in the game, plus 8 more cheat artifacts that are available as offerings in DLC or bonus editions of the game. We list them all below, split into two categories - the base Tales of Arise Artifact List & Locations, plus the DLC Artifact list. But first, we talk about how to use artifacts.

How to use Artifacts in Tales of Arise

Once you get your hands on an artifact in Tales of Arise, it's added to your party inventory. You can toggle the effects of each artifact on or off whenever you like after that; just go to the 'Artifacts' menu option, which is found under the Field Guide in the main Tales of Arise menu.

In this menu, you can press Triangle/Y or your platform's equivalent to bring up the Artifacts Effect screen, pictured above. In this menu, you can turn on or off the effects of the various artifacts you've unlocked. You can see, when coupled with the artifacts list below, how these many effects can ultimately be very powerful when stacked.
