God Eater 3 Story Trailer published by Bandai Namco

UPDATE: Bandai Namco Entertainment Europe has also published an English version of the trailer. You can watch it below the original Japanese trailer link.

Bandai Namco has published a story trailer for God Eater 3 in Japan. As the title suggests, this trailer contains a compilation of cutscenes from the newest sequel of the God Eater hunting RPG series which has been known to have an elaborate story with numerous unique characters in each game. This game is no exception as it will have a big list of characters, from God Eaters like Claire, Zeke, and Lulu, non-combatants such as Hilda and Amy, to the mysterious Phym.

Unlike the first two God Eater titles which took place at a Fenrir branch in the Far East (a.k.a. Japan), God Eater 3 is going to take place in Europe, around the vicinity of the Fenrir headquarters. A number of years have passed since the events of God Eater 2: Rage Burst and the Fenrir organization has already collapsed due to the new Ashlands phenomenon which caused most of the Earth's surface to be uninhabitable, forcing humanity to live underground and form their own Ports.

The player will be able to create their own avatar character who gets recruited as an AGE (Adaptive God Eater), a brand-new type of God Eater soldiers that can withstand the Ashlands phenomenon but are treated like slaves by the Ports. You can see more cutscenes in the trailer which is available right below.

God Eater 3 will first in Japan for PlayStation 4 on December 13. The international release, as well as a PC Steam version, will be out next year on February 8, 2019.
