Fire Emblem: Fortune's Weave Part I: Theodora's Path Walkthrough

Fire Emblem: Fortune's Weave Part I: Theodora's Path Walkthrough

This page is RPG Site's Fire Emblem: Fortune's Weave walkthrough for Part I: Theodora's Path. If you were looking for a different section, check out the following links.

Following the game's short Prologue section, you have chosen Theodora as your Part I protagonist. Theodora's team is the only group that can have Battalions assigned to characters. These can be used for Gambits (like in Fire Emblem: Three Houses), and they can be deployed to search spots to quickly collect resources. Theodora is also the only protagonist that can explore all the water routes in Part I, since she has a ship.

In any case, select the Wolf Obelisk and let's get started.

What this walkthrough will do:

  • Offer a minimalist walkthrough so you know what you need to do at any point in the game.

What the walkthrough will not do:

  • Offer anything more than the basic strategies and tips for battles.

Theodora's Path - Part 1 Chapter 1 - Theodora, The Iron Bastion

  • After the cutscenes, you'll explore Megaira. Here, you can find yellow pick-up orbs with semi-random items.
    • Note: Don't fret too much about ensuring you pick up every single yellow orb at every opportunity. These are usually common items, and you'll pick up hundreds during your playthroughs. Keep an eye out, but you won't miss out on anything crucial if you accidentally glance over a few.
  • Head to the main marker when ready for some cutscenes.

[Combat] - Battle at Mahadu's Shrine

  • Victory: Get Theodora to the target destination.
  • Defeat: Theodora falls in battle.
  • Strategy: This is a straightforward tutorial battle. Note that Bonaventure has Heal.
  • Notes:
    • Tobias and Bonaventure join on turn 2.
    • A cutscene will take place when Theodora reaches the target.
    • After the cutscene, you'll gain Mahadu's right arm and Mahadu's Spear. One turn later, you'll learn Earthen Throw Blaze Art
    • Your new objective is to defeat all the enemies.
    • Diego shows up in this battle, but you can't do anything special with him. Feel free to defeat him.

Theodora's Path - Part 1 Chapter 2 - Dyan's Uprising

  • This chapter opens with a series of cutscenes and scripted sequences before you reach the battle.

[Combat] - Scramble for the Throne

  • Victory: Defeat Dyan.
  • Defeat: Theodora falls in battle.
  • Strategy: Use the Avo Spots as much as you can to avoid damage.
  • Notes:
    • Fortuna's Blessing unlocks during this battle on turn 2.

Theodora's Path - Part 1 Chapter 3 - Tumult at the Imperial Capital

  • This chapter opens with several cutscenes.
  • When you get control at the Saramis Guesthouse, you can pick up some common yellow orb items.
  • Talk to Bonaventure when ready for more cutscenes.
  • During the dialogue choice after Theodora punches out the training dummy, whoever you choose gets a small Support bonus.
  • You'll have limited city exploration on 2/4. You can only explore the Temple Row and Entertainment District.
  • Head to Temple Row for a cutscene, then Aurora's Temple, then the Entertainment District.
  • After all the events, you'll enter a battle.

[Combat] - Battle vs. Bandits

  • Victory: Defeat Idi.
  • Defeat: Theodora or Orchel falls in battle.
  • Strategy: You get four guests - Orchel, Diego, Seteth, and Loretta. This battle should be straightforward.
  • Notes:
    • Use Theodora's Blaze Art to hit the guy with the Bullion (or sneak around the boss).
    • Note that Orchel has Heal.

Theodora's Path - Part 1 Chapter 4 - Unlikely Allegiances

  • After the scenes, Lysander and Lilian join the team.
  • This chapter starts with a ton of tutorials.
  • The first is an Arena Training tutorial. This action does not cost a turn and can be done once-per-week. It is similar to the lessons in Three Houses.
    • Tobias is a good choice for the tutorial training session.
  • This is followed up by a Class Upgrade / License tutorial, which is done in the Temple Rows area. Theodora will automatically be classed to a Soldier.
  • This is followed by a Battalion tutorial, which is unique to Theodora. This works similarly to Three Houses, where battalions can allow a unit additional options during their turn while raising stats. These battalions are also used to collect resources around the map. You get Novice Hunters to start.

Free Time 1

Start: 3/1
End: 3/7

Time/Turns Note - How the passage of time works

Before anything else, let me clarify how time works in Fortune's Weave. At the bottom left of the interface, you'll see a date, a time, and a remaining number of turns before the battle at the chapter end. Each day is broken up into four six-hour blocks: 0:00-5:59, 6:00-11:59, 12:00-17:59, and 18:00-23:59. Each of these blocks is a Turn.

(Honestly, instead of the actual running clock, you could think of days as being broken up into Night, Morning, Afternoon, and Evening.)

The short of it is that, bluntly, the clock time itself is meaningless. Only the Turns count really matters. While time appears to pass in real-time, this isn't actually the case. Until you perform an action that costs a Turn, the clock will actually stop on its own. So, you don't have to worry about 'wasting time' or 'losing turns' because the game time will only actually progress when you explicitly perform actions that cost time.

On that note, several actions around Dagsion do not cost turns (although they may cost money). These are things like feeding the Pale Raven, praying at a shrine, training at the Arena, and having Meals at the Inn, among several other things (note, not all of these will be available at this time).

Some actions do cost a Turn, however, such as resting in the Inn. The game will note this in the interface.

In short, don't fret about the clock itself. In fact, you'll see it stop at 5:59, 11:59, 17:59, or 23:59 if you haven't spent a turn.
  • More Tutorials here.
  • Pick-up Items
    • Around town, you'll find those yellow item orbs. These usually contain food items, smithing items, or gifts, and refresh at the beginning of each chapter, and are semi-random. I will not point out what precisely you can pick up each chapter, but keep an eye out. Soon enough, you'll become familiar with where the spawn points are.
  • Press ZR to access your map. Theodora starts out in the Hightown section of Dagsion, in the north part of the city.
  • Marketplace now open
    • This is where you buy gifts. The Armory and Weapon Shop are also open.
  • Divine Services now open
    • This is where you can pray once-per-week. There are six gods, and each has a dedicated day of the week. Praying raises your favor with a god, which can allow you to use various Blessing effects (used similarly to Fortuna's). This action does NOT cost a Turn. While you can pray at any temple on any day, you'll get a bonus on the following days.
      • Aurora - Mon
      • Mars - Tue
      • Smyrnos - Wed
      • Jurah - Thu
      • Kalla - Fri
      • Credna - Sat
    • Bless Levels are global and carry over across Paths.
    • Also, anytime you are in Dagsion, keep an eye out on the map screen to see if one of the shrine icons in Temple Row is colored in. This means you can have an audience with the god, granting some Renown. This is just a small dialogue, but no reason to pass it up. This does NOT cost a Turn.
  • Foresight Tutorial
    • The Pale Raven can show you what's upcoming in the next battle once Free Time ends. This gives you clues on things to obtain or accomplish during Free Time.
    • You can also feed the Pale Raven once per week. This raises a character's support with Eshmel, which will be important in later parts of the game. This minigame works like Tea Time in Fire Emblem: Three Houses. This action does NOT cost a Turn.
  • Adventure Guide Tutorial
    • Anna will give tips on things to do during Free Time. This is accessed from the menu.
  • If this is your first playthrough, some Subquests appear on the Bulletin Board. These are simple tutorial quests that point you to various services. Here are the quick rewards:
    • Welcome to the Item Shop - Vulnerary
    • Swing by the Armory - Wooden Sword
    • Awaiting You at the Inn - Sand-Boar Meat, 10 Renown
    • Find Fellowship at the Temples - Ginji, 10 Renown
  • If you've completed Subquests on other paths, you'll automatically gain rewards here for completing them. This happens for every chapter.
    • If you replay the same route a second time, Subquests you've completed the first time will automatically be completed.

Subquests

Starting in Chapter 4, you may start encountering generic Subquests around town.

In RPG Site's testing of Fire Emblem: Fortune's Weave with two different players, we observed that Subquest availability was not simply tied to a certain protagonist. The subquests that become available to you appear to be semi-random, and it may depend on the order in which you complete Part I Paths. That means it's difficult to state exactly which Subquests you'll run into.

Check out our Subquest Guide page for more details.

[Dungeon Tutorial]

  • Check out our Dungeon Guide for more details on Dungeons in general.
  • In dungeons, you'll pick up to five characters for your exploration party.
  • You can press Y to get a preemptive strike on an enemy, or to destroy barrels, crates, and crystals.
  • Make sure the "Show Path" option is selected with ZR. This makes it easier to see where you have been.
  • Each dungeon has one Rest Spot. You can use this to make food to replenish HP and Magic (but not LP). Each character will heal by the HP sum of the items selected, as well as Magic uses if they are a magic user.
    • Tip: Check the state of your party before using a rest spot so you know how much HP you need to heal.
    • In this dungeon, however, it is unlikely you'll need to heal.
  • If a dungeon has a back entrance, you'll see an Uncharted symbol in the top right corner.
  • Break every box and crystal you see for items. While there are certain food and smithing items that can be found in certain dungeons, what you actually get during any given exploration is random.
  • Each dungeon will have a certain number of treasure chests, listed in the upper right corner. Unlike the collectable items, chests always have the same contents.
  • While dungeons do not have an enemy counter similar to the chest counter, the game will still tell you when all the foes have been defeated with a pop-up screen. If you haven't seen this pop-up, there is at least one enemy group remaining.
  • Links in Clash Battles cost LP, which is not easily replenished in dungeons. Generally, you'll want to save it for more difficult encounters.
    • However, this tutorial dungeon only has 3 battles, so Link away.
  • Tip: If you are playing on Standard difficulty, consider holding + to have the game 'Skip to Conclusion'. Assuming you aren't in a dungeon far above your level, you'll usually be fine. In the case one of your characters does die, you'll immediately be given the option to restart the battle.

Chapter Suggestions

  • Class Bonaventure and Tobias into beginner classes.
    • Bonaventure clearly fits the Diviner class, while Tobias is suited as a Gladiator.
  • You may want to buy Lillian a Bronze Sword.
  • Be sure to complete any quests that expire on 3/7.
  • Consider clearing low-level dungeons near Dagsion, including the following, but don't worry if you don't get to all of them. You'll have plenty of time later:
    • Niraga Mine (5)
    • Collapsed Fort (6)
    • Heretics' Cave (7)

[Combat] - Qualifier: Gaia Brigade

  • Victory: Defeat Zarcone.
  • Defeat: Theodora, Cai, or Orchel fall in battle.
  • Strategy: Let enemies come to you. I strongly suggest going over the bridge rather than through the shoals, which slow you down and lower your Avo.
  • Notes:
    • Tialla and Orchel come with Heal.

Theodora's Path - Part 1 Chapter 5 - An Ominous Clash

  • This chapter opens up with a Send Supplies quest, which is Theodora's unique quest type.
    • Note: Send Supplies Quests are unique to Theodora and are categorized separately from standard Subquests in the game menus.
  • Note that all Send Supplies quests end on 10/24. This is the final day of Theodora's final chapter in Part 1. That means you have until the very end of Part 1 to collect these items.
Send Supplies: Caltrop Flowers

Deliver: Caltrop Flower x5
Reward: 5500G, 100R
End: 10/24
  • This is immediately followed up by a standard Search tutorial. However, Theodora also has the ability to deploy a battalion at search points to get even more items. This is essentially needed to complete her Send Supply type quests.
  • You'll also get another automatic battalion - Priest Trainees.
  • You'll automatically complete the tutorial quest, and you'll be given the next one.
Send Supplies: White Trout

Deliver: White Trout x20
Reward: 5500G, 300R
End: 10/24
  • This is immediately followed by a Gift/Recruitment tutorial.
    • You can now start giving gifts to characters to raise support and eventually recruit characters.
    • In Theodora's route, the game points you towards Sofia, a Diviner with low recruitment requirements. Go ahead and add her to your team.
    • Most battles in Fortune's Weave allow you to have at least six characters. With Sofia in your squad, you have a good starting roster of six units. Of course, later battles will allow larger teams, and you are free to play with whoever you choose.
    • Check out our Recruitment Guide for full details.
  • Meals at the Inn are a great way to raise support with characters you are trying to recruit. Just note you need to give characters a gift first before they can be invited for a meal.

Free Time 2

Start: 3/8
End: 3/21

  • If this is your first playthrough, you'll get the bulletin board quest Gifts of the Marketplace.
  • [Important] Optional Scenes
    • These scenes are noted on the map with a slow pulse. These scence can be missed if you are not careful, so be sure to see these.
      • Note that the game tracks which scenes you've seen (at the pedestal in the Obelisk Chamber), so you might as well try to get all of these. This guide will point them out in each chapter.
    • There is a scene with Anatolia near the Inn.
  • Other
    • Collect yellow orbs for random items and gifts - do this every chapter
    • Always check your map for orange dots, as new characters may appear after certain dates.
    • Always keep an eye out for Shrines on the city map to be colored yellow, meaning you can have a quick audience with that god.
    • Remember to perform your weekly chores when you can:
      • Feeding the Pale Raven
      • Training at the arena
      • Working at Shrines
      • Giving gifts to characters you eventually want to recruit
      • Meals at the Inn

Chapter Suggestions

  • Consider buying Javelin and Hand Axe for those who need them.
  • You don't have a lot of time in this chapter, so just focus on quests and make some more dungeons.

[Combat] - Qualifier: Forgotten Alcor

  • Victory: Defeat Batholome.
  • Defeat: Theodora, Talimun, or Anatolia falls in battle.
  • Strategy: Split your team into two and move around the left and right sides. Move to take out the left and right ballistae after Turn 5.
  • Notes:
    • Use ZL to check the ballistae range.
    • The rain will start on Turn 5, deactivating the ballistae. Rain will stop on Turn 9.
    • Talimun, Anatolia, and Sha Lan all have Heal.
    • An Event Clash will take place after the battle.

Theodora's Path - Part 1 Chapter 6 - The Treasure Hunter

  • This chapter opens with cutscenes and an Event Clash.
  • After this, you'll have a tutorial for the Vandahl Trading Company, which sells items for trade instead of gold.
  • This is followed up by a Recruit Soldiers tutorial, which allows you to gain more battalions.

Free Time 3

Start: 3/22
End: 4/20

  • The Blacksmith also opens now, which is used to power up weapons.
    • There's a quick Bulletin Board subquest called "Ever Employed A Blacksmith?' you should knock out for a Smithing Stone and 10R.
    • This will not appear if you've already completed a protagonist route.
  • Special Match - This is a special battle exclusive to Theodora. Head to the path between Temple Row and Hightown on 4/6 at 18:00.

Send Supplies Quests

Send Supplies: Black-Sand Steel

Deliver: Black-Sand Steel x20
Reward: 5500G, 320R
End: 10/24
Send Supplies: Melara x10

Deliver: Melara x10
Reward: 5500G, 320R
End: 10/24

Special Match

  • This match takes place on 4/6 at 18:00.

[Combat] - Exhibition: Battle vs. Bertrand

  • Victory: Defeat Bertrand
  • Defeat: Theodora falls in battle.
  • Strategy: Bring a healer.
  • Notes:
    • You don't need to defeat Bertrand, just damage him enough.

Chapter Suggestions

  • First of all, be absolutely sure to see the Exhibition Match on 4/6.
  • The battle at the end of this chapter has undead units. Try to get a Cleansing Blade. You can get one at Vandahl for 3x Ladon Pike.
  • In the next chapter, you'll need 30x Thry Fruit for a Send Supplies Quest, so consider starting to collect those now.
  • In the next chapter, you'll need 30x Carna Bonito for a Send Supplies Quest, so consider starting to collect those now.
    • These can be found at Peluza Cape in Elektra, alongside the water route it leads to.
  • Starting this chapter, Theodora can travel water routes on the World Map. This includes the Lir Sea to the North and the Danann Sea to the East. Feel free to check these out, but you don't have to explore them all right now.
  • Buy some Specialty Licenses to use in the upcoming chapters.
  • You should try to complete dungeons up to around level 18-20, which include. Again, don't worry if you don't get to all of them:
    • Hundred Hole Cave (14)
    • Masked Woods (15)
    • Fort Hayn (18)
    • Dione Fort (18)
    • Valhalla Mine (20)

[Combat] - Bahr Vahn Showdown

  • Before this battle, during the event on 4/21, simply follow the markers to Yu Phas' Temple.
  • Victory: Defeat Bahr Vahn
  • Defeat: Theodora falls in battle
  • Strategy: It's easier to go clockwise around to the west, not counter-clockwise to the east.
  • Notes:
    • Enemies appear as soon as you attack Bahr Vahn. I would position all my units on the left side of the center spike pit before attacking him.
    • Use your Cleansing Blade to deal extra damage.
    • Note the Trap floors, which deal damage and lower defense. Avoid them.

Theodora's Path - Part 1 Chapter 7 - A Voice from the Darkness

  • This chapter starts with a Transfer Battalions tutorial. You can get Tactics Manuals for doing this, which raise Authority Skill. This isn't all that useful, so you can ignore this if you want to.

Free Time 4

Start: 4/21
End: 5/28

  • Optional Scene - Talk to Alexandra in town (she's in the City Streets area), then see an optional event in Lowtown (highlighted as a pulsing ring on the map).

Send Supplies Quests

Send Supplies: Thry Fruit

Deliver: Thry Fruit x30
Reward: 5500G, 320R
End: 10/24
Send Supplies: Carna Bonito

Deliver: Carna Bonito x30
Reward: 5500G, 320R
End: 10/24

Chapter Suggestions

  • Be sure to see the optional scene regarding Alexandra.
  • Make Sure Lillian has a good bow.
  • Considering you have to collect Carna Bonito for a Send Supplies quest, this is a good chapter to explore the Danann Sea to the east. You can even reach the Solomon desert area to the far east.
  • Consider tackling dungeons in the level 20-23 range, including:
    • Cindered Road Cave (22)
    • Cave Behind the Falls (22)
    • Cougar Woodlands (23)
    • Enno Isle (24) exclusive to Theodora
  • The next chapter has Send Supplies quests for 10x Steelfish and 35x Ladon Loach, so consider getting a start on collecting those.
    • Steelfish can be obtained at the Socie Bay search point near Raivo Port.
    • Ladon Loach can be found most easily at Enceladus Bridge near Dagsion, but also Ladon Lake in Melias and Oracle Falls in Braxithea.
      • Moving between Ladon Lake and Socie Bay may be the most efficient way to obtain these.

[Combat] - Qualifier: Silver Knights of Tellus

  • Victory: Defeat Alexandra
  • Defeat: Leda, Dietrich, or Theodora falls in battle.
  • Strategy: Let the enemies come to you; don't charge ahead recklessly.
  • Notes:
    • Theodora's max HP will decrease during this battle, due to scripted Bursts, so be careful with her.

Theodora's Path - Part 1 Chapter 8 - Rendezvous with Troy

Free Time 5

Start: 6/1
End: 6/30

  • Note: As you reach Renown levels 7 and 8, you'll unlock the Theater and Thermae options in Dagsion, respectively. If this you first playthrough, you'll find tutorial bulletin board quests The Magic of the Theater! and Beauty and Health at the Thermae.

Send Supplies Quests

Send Supplies: Steelfish

Deliver: Steelfish x10
Reward: 5500G, 320R
End: 10/24
Send Supplies: Ladon Loach

Deliver: Ladon Loach x35
Reward: 5500G, 320R, unlocks Cataphract Class
End: 10/24

Chapter Suggestions

  • This is a good chapter to start exploring the western Dagda desert, if you havent already.
  • Send Supplies quests in the next chapter include 30x Roca and 10x Kothar Gar, if you wanted to get a head start on those.
  • Note: as long as you've been to the Search Point called "Tritopater Corridor", the game will take you to the main mission at the end of the chapter. Look for a green checkmark on the lower-left part of the UI.
  • While you cannot buy Advanced Licenses in Dagsion until Chapter 10, you may be able to buy some in Megaira to upgrade some units into Advanced Classes. At the very least, you can stock up on a few extra licenses to use later.

[Combat] - Battle vs. the Har Hali

  • Victory: Defeat Nuzzuo
  • Defeat: 20 turns pass or Theodora falls in battle.
  • Strategy: It's slower but safer to take the path east and move counter-clockwise. Just keep the 20-turn limit in mind, as Nuzzuo will retreat from your advance.
  • Notes:
    • After the battle, you'll be in the Wandering Wood dungeon. It works a little bit differently than it usually does for this story event. The clue is 13213, meaning take the path with one butterfly, then three butterflies, then 2 butterflies, then 1 butterfly, then 3 butterflies.

Theodora's Path - Part 1 Chapter 9 - To The Forbidden Land

  • This chapter unusually starts outside of Dagsion.
  • A scene will take place automatically at Tritopater Corridor.

Free Time 6

Start: 7/1
End: 7/31

Send Supplies Quests

Send Supplies: Roca

Deliver: Ladon Loach x35
Reward: 5500G, 320R
End: 10/24
Send Supplies: Kothar Gar

Deliver: Kothar Gar x10
Reward: 5500G, 325R, unlocks Guardian Class
End: 10/24

Chapter Suggestions

  • Give Lilian (or whoever can use it) a Hunter's Bow.
  • Consider buying an Advanced License at Megaira.
  • You should try to get Da Mina weapons for your main team, as well as replacing Javelins and Hand Axes with Short Spears and Short Axes.
  • Send Supplies quests in the next chapter include 35x Venomstone and 35x Desert Millet, if you wanted to get a head start on those.

[Dungeon] - Southern Passage

  • Be sure to pick up Salamander and Archive Z here
  • When you reach the part where you explore Kunlun, there's nothing to do except talk to Zenon.

[Dungeon] - Northern Passage

  • You can pick up Dew of Peace here.

[Combat] - Battle vs. the Digammas

  • Victory: Seize the Epimenium.
  • Defeat: Theodora falls in battle.
  • Strategy: The actual goal is to defeat the boss Digamma (with three health bars).
  • Notes:
    • Obviously, Antitoxins may help. You can actually buy these from the battle prep screen, but you'll get some during the battle as drops.
    • The best way to defeat the Digammas is to target the ones that are more lively in their idle animation. These will take out the surrounding enemies. Use ZL to see these more easily.
    • Long comes with Heal and a Salamander. Remember to equip your own Salamander, also.

Theodora's Path - Part 1 Chapter 10 - The Queen and the Merchant

Free Time 7

Start: 8/25
End: 9/16

  • Optional Scenes
    • Anatolia will ask to borrow Theodora's ship until 9/21. I would go ahead and do this. If you lend Anatolia your ship, her team will help out in Theodora's Chapter 12 final battle.
    • There's an optional scene with Orchel in Yu Phas' temple, accessed from the Entertainment District.
  • Anna's Shop
    • Anna's shop will occasionally appear north of Temple Row, offering an assortment of valuable items, and her stock changes throughout the game. Check it out if you see the shop icon on the map.
  • Paralogue Tutorial
    • Paralogue battles start to appear in Chapter 10. These optional battles show up on specified days. For Theodora, only one Paralogue is available in this chapter. Talk to Leda between 9/2 and 9/8.

Send Supplies Quests

Send Supplies: Venomstone

Deliver: Venomstone x35
Reward: 5500G, 350R
End: 10/24
Send Supplies: Desert Millet

Deliver: Desert Millet x35
Reward: 5500G, 350R
End: 10/24

Paralogues

  • Paralogues will start to appear in this chapter. The key things to know about Paralogues are:
    • Not every protagonist can access every Paralogue.
    • Paralogues are only available during limited windows of opportunity. You can miss these if you are not careful.
    • While this walkthrough will mention all Paralogues available for Theodora, you can check out our Paralogue Guide for full details.
Diversionary Tactics (Leda's Paralogue)

Available: 9/2 - 9/8 from Leda in Temple Row
Reward: Silver Shield, 20000G, 150R
End: 9/8
Note: This battle takes place specifically on 9/8. If you choose to start before then, the game will let you do auto-activities to spend turns until 9/8.

Chapter Suggestions

  • Be sure to see the Optional Scene in Yu Phas Temple with Orchel
  • Note that Northern Passage, the story dungeon from the previous chapter, will have an extra treasure chest with a Phantom Ring.

[Combat] - Main Match: Battle Vs. Talimun

  • Before the battle, hear Lillian out to raise support.
  • Victory: Hold more orbs than the enemy after 12 turns pass.
  • Defeat: The enemy holds more orbs than you after 12 turns.
  • Strategy: I suggest staying near the artillery in the center, else the enemy will use those to pot-shot your characters.
  • Notes:
    • The enemy doesn't get a 12th turn, which gives you an advantage.

Theodora's Path - Part 1 Chapter 11 - A Sudden Turn

Free Time 8

Starts: 9/17
End: 10/15

  • If you gave Anatolia your ship in Chapter 10, you'll get a quick scene with Anatolia in Dagsion partway through Chapter 11.

Send Supplies Quests

Send Supplies: Lir Fish

Deliver: Lir Fish x35
Reward: 5500G, 350R
End: 10/24
Send Supplies: Sea-Star Stone

Deliver: Sea-Star Stone x35
Reward: 5500G, 350R, Dragoon unlocked
End: 10/24

Paralogues

Friendly Match with Brigid's King (Bertrand's Paralogue)

From: 9/17 - 9/25 Gabriel in Arena Square
Reward: Extra Large Bullion, 20000G, 150R
End: 9/25
Note: The battle will start at 9pm on the day you decide to take it on.
Secret of the Vanished Carriage (Talimun's Paralogue)

Available: 9/17 - 9/22 OR 10/1 - 10/10 from Talimun near the Port
Reward: Cleansing Blade, 20000G, 150R
End: 10/12
Golden Secret (Anna's Paralogue)

Available: 9/24 - 10/5 from Anna at Dagsion Summit
Reward: Orichalcum, 20000G, 150R
End: 10/5

Chapter Suggestions

  • Note that Theodora's Free Time in Chapter 12 is very short - only 32 turns. So, try to get as much done as you can during this Free Time in Chapter 11.
  • The Lir Fish and Sea-Star Stone Send Supplies quests are the last ones, so once you clear those, you don't have to fret about collecting materials in bulk.
  • Note that Anatolia's team is not in Dagsion in Chapter 12, so if you want to recruit them, this is your chance (after they return with your boat).

[Combat] - Semifinal: Battle vs. Cai

  • Victory: Defeat Cai
  • Defeat: Theodora falls in battle.
  • Strategy: There's no real trick to this battle. You're supposed to split into two groups so you can hit the switches at the upper left and upper right at the same time, but it's safer to just do one before the other, even if it takes longer. Note the Fire Orb on the left side (send high resistance this way) and the ballista on the right side (send high defense units this way), and be sure to stay healed.
  • Notes:
    • Use the floor tiles to your advantage.
    • Cai will also use his Blaze Art 'Underworld Burst' from time to time. Keep an eye out for the purple targeting line.

  • After the battle, continue following the main quest marker. You'll end up exploring a portion of the Sewers dungeon. Here, you can pick up Talisman Shield and Vulnerary.

Chapter Suggestions

  • With so little time, focus on the Subquests and Paralogues available. Do Cai's Paralogue last.
  • Be sure to recruit everyone you can, as this is your last chance.

[Combat] - The Battle of Fort Zanbar

  • Before the battle, you'll have small exploration sections in Ahm Lu and Megaira, but simply head to the quest markers.
  • Victory: Defeat Dyan.
  • Defeat: Theodora falls in battle.
  • Strategy: The level is mostly a linear, spiral route to the boss. Keep in mind the notes below.
  • Note:
    • Two rounds of reinforcements come in from behind you as you make your way up the first set of stairs, so be prepared to defend your position. Most of the reinforcements are Fliers, so having a few bow users comes in handy.
    • Dismount cavalry before going up the stairs - you'll move much farther.
    • You'll get a few support units to access long-range artillery
    • Anatolia and Sha Lan will appear partway through if you lent her your ship in Chapter 10.

From here, you can begin Part II: War.
