Final Fantasy Pixel Remaster Series has sold over 6 million copies worldwide, CD soundtracks announced
Square Enix has announced that the Final Fantasy Pixel Remaster Series has sold over 6 million copies worldwide.
The Final Fantasy Pixel Remaster series includes Final Fantasy I, II, III, IV, V, and VI, all redone with a new, refined pixel art style and enhanced with modern convenience features. Alongside today's sales milestone, Square Enix has shared celebratory art. You can find it below:
Square Enix is celebrating this milestone by releasing the soundtracks on CD. They launch on February 18, 2026 in Japan. Pre-orders are not live for the West yet.
To commemorate total worldwide sales of over 6 million copies of the FINAL FANTASY PIXEL REMASTER series, the original soundtracks are finally coming to CD!
Each release features the music from one of the six FINAL FANTASY Pixel Remaster titles.
The booklet includes a special comment from composer Nobuo Uematsu.
In addition, each CD comes with a bonus sticker featuring a newly illustrated commemorative artwork by Kazuko Shibuya.

The Final Fantasy Pixel Remaster series of games is now available on Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, iOS, Android, and PC (Steam, Microsoft Store).
